A video call with a client on the specialist's laptop and on the client's phone

Video calls with clients

Every client has their own call link. They open it in a browser and join the call without installing anything or signing up.
A client opens the call link on a phone and sees the specialist's name and photo

Why call from the app

No need to walk a client through installing a video app and creating an account. They open the link on a phone or computer and see you right away.
The link is permanent. You send it to the client once, and all future sessions take place there. You can copy it from the client card or from an event in your schedule.
The call page carries your branding: your photo, name and profession, just like your online booking page. The client knows straight away whose call they have joined.

What a call looks like

The call page as the client and the specialist see it. It shows your name and photo, with nothing extra to set up.
  • Joining a video call on the client's phone: the specialist's name and photo and a camera check

    How the client joins

The client opens the link and sees your name and photo. Before the call they check their camera and microphone and tap “Join”
  • The video call waiting room on the client's phone

    Waiting room

The client waits until you let them in and can see that you know they are here. If the session is in your schedule, they see when it starts
  • The specialist sees the client in the waiting room and lets them in

    You let the client in

The page shows right away who is in the waiting room. If you are not on the call yet, you get a message with a link that takes you straight into the call
  • A video call with a client on the specialist's computer: timer and clock at the top

    The call

The client fills the screen, your own video sits in the corner. The session timer and the clock at the top are visible only to you
  • A video call with the specialist on the client's phone

    On the client's phone

The client does not need to install anything: the call runs right in the phone's browser
  • The video call menu: hide video, audio source, participants and call link

    Call menu

On a weak connection you can hide the other person's video. The menu also lets you choose the microphone and speaker and shows the participant list and the call link
  • The client's screen after the session ends, with a “Book a session” button

    After the session

When you end the session, the client sees the time of the next one or, if there is none, a “Book a session” button that leads to your online booking page

How to run a video call

There is nothing to set up in advance: every client card already has a call link.

What else the call page can do

I built the calls for private practice: everything you need for a session with a client and nothing more.
Waiting room

Waiting room

The client joins the call only after you let them in. If you do not need it, you can turn the waiting room off in the settings
Arrival notice

Arrival notice

If the client arrives before you, you get a message in the bot, by SMS or by email with a link to join the call
Timer and schedule sync

Timer and schedule

If the session is in your schedule, the timer counts from its start and tells you when it is time to wrap up
Couples, families and groups

Couples, families and groups

With the link from the shared card, each participant picks their own name and joins the session. Up to four people per call
Screen sharing

Screen sharing

From a computer you can share your screen with the client: a presentation, a document or an exercise
Next session

Next session

After the call the client sees the time of the next session or a button to book one on your online booking page
The client waits in the waiting room until the specialist lets them in

The conversation stays between you

Video calls are not recorded, and video and audio are not stored anywhere. The connection is encrypted and, whenever possible, goes directly between your devices.
The link preview and the join page show only your name. Only you see the client's name. There is one exception: with a link for a couple, family or group, the page shows the participants' names so that each person can pick their own.
If the link ends up with the wrong person, change it in the client card. The old link stops working immediately.

Questions and answers

A short guide to how video calls work. If you cannot find your answer, just write to me.
  • Does the client need to install anything?

No. The call opens in a browser on a phone or computer. The client does not need to sign up or create a password either.

  • Where do I call from?

From the app: tap “Start video call” in the client card or in a schedule event, and the call opens in the browser on your device.

  • Is the conversation recorded?

No. Video and audio are not stored anywhere, the connection is encrypted and, whenever possible, goes directly between devices.

  • What happens if the client arrives before me?

They wait in the waiting room and see when the session starts, if it is in your schedule. You get a message in the bot, by SMS or by email, depending on your notification settings, with a link that takes you straight into the call.

  • How many people can join a call?

Up to four including you, for example you and a family of three. For a couple, family or group, send the link from the shared card: each participant picks their own name on the page.

  • Can I change the link?

Yes. The “Video call” block in the client card has a “Change link” button. The old link stops working immediately, and you will need to send the new one to the client.

  • How much does it cost?

Video calls are part of the Pro version of the app. See current prices and plans on the “Pay for subscription” page. There is no auto-renewal: you pay manually when you need to.
